In Belgrade, on March 18, 2014, just days after the Serbian Parliamentary elections, I spent the morning photographing a flow of passersby at a busy intersection. Moving right to left, they crossed in front of a wall plastered with election posters, squinting into the sharp, blinding sunlight.
